This listing is for handmade French Ultramarine Blue watercolor paint, offered in a variety of pan sizes. This cool blue leans towards the purple side of the spectrum and is a single pigment, deep blue. It mixes easily to create numerous other hues in the artists' palette. It is the synthetic form of Lapis Lazuli, which for many years was a very rare and expensive pigment. Now this synthetic bright blue is an affordable, non-toxic staple in every artist's palette.
A small magnet can be added to the pan, at no cost, to allow it to stick to any metal tin, if the artist prefers. Please be sure to select that option.

Our paints are always non-toxic, lovingly hand poured into whole pans, half pans, or bottle caps. We make high quality paint and art supplies for all types of artists. Each color is made from pure, artist-grade pigments and our own all natural binder formula, which includes gum arabic, local honey, and a time-honored, clove oil preservative. Each pigment is mulled by hand until it is the proper, luscious consistency. Each pan is poured once, slowly cured, then topped off so that the pans are as full as possible. Your order is packaged mindfully, using eco-friendly packaging and shipped to you from our studio in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
